Meloney M. Miller

Meloney Michelle Miller is known as, “The Woman in the Back of Success.” She has dedicated her life to sharpening the blades of her clients and the community she serves. Meloney is a native of Kannapolis, NC who resides in Raleigh, NC.

LaShana Broussard-Morris

LaShana Broussard-Morris is a design entrepreneur who owns graphic design company, Mpresion, LLC, where she and her team create “Beauty in Design" by developing customized digital and print materials such as booklets, banners, rack cards, posters, and logos for her clients.
At various times in her life, LaShana has owned companies which allowed her to use her creative and finance background. She founded and grew a line of bakeries in the Triangle where she created a variety of flavors, cake and cookie designs all from scratch. As a former investment advisor/ stockbroker, she created portfolios of stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and options for her client’s investment, retirement, and estate planning. LaShana has been creating since her youth when she designed and sold custom, personalized jewelry and baked goods.
She actively volunteers in her church, community, and within her children’s schools and activities.
As a New Orleans native, LaShana’s daily life was surrounded by the beauty of design in fashion, architecture, landscaping, music, food from the melding of French, Spanish, Caribbean, and Italian cultures throughout the city. It continues to impact her design thinking. LaShana loves travel, music, reading, and cooking and eating good food.
LaShana received her B.A. from Xavier University where she majored in Management Science, MBA from Meredith College, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in the College of Design at North Carolina State University where she is researching the access of independent artisans to the global markets.
She and her husband of 22+ years, David, have 2 children, Victoria, 16 and David III, 12.

A.J. Blue
A.J. Blue joined the North Carolina strength and conditioning staff in 2015, serving as an assistant strength and conditioning coach with the football program.
A Dallas, N.C. native, Blue graduated from North Gaston High School in 2008 and earned a communications degree from UNC in 2013. A letterwinner and team captain for Carolina football, Blue played primarily at running back during his four seasons with the Tar Heels.
DR. LEROY SIMS
MD, MSc, CAQSM
Dr. Leroy Sims, MD, MSc, CAQSM, is a physician who is board-certified in emergency medicine and primary care sports medicine.
He is the current Vice President and Medical Director for the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is also a partner with Mills Peninsula Emergency Medical Associates and practices emergency medicine at Mills Peninsula Medical Center in Burlingame, California.
In his role with the NBA, Dr. Sims is responsible for the organization and provision of medical care at all domestic and international NBA, WNBA and G-League events. He coordinates medical care with hospitals, physicians, first responders and other key partners to ensure optimum medical services at NBA events, including transportation for off-site medical care and the development of standard methodologies for on-site medical care. Dr. Sims is responsible for monitoring global health issues and disseminating information specific to NBA events, event participant infectious disease exposure, and NBA business travel in the form of medical advisories, vaccination recommendations, and overall health safety assessments.
Dr. Sims represented the United States Olympic Committee at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, serving as a team physician for the USA Track and Field (USATF) team. He has been a team physician with USATF since 2013, staffing multiple domestic and international events including USATF Indoor and Outdoor National Championships, Olympic Trials, the 2013 Pan American Jr. Championships in Medellin, Colombia, the 2014 Indoor World Championships in Sopot, Poland, and the 2015 Outdoor World Championships in Beijing, China. Dr. Sims was previously the Medical Director and team physician for the NBA’s Golden State Warriors from 2011-2014.
Dr. Sims graduated from Stanford University with Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Biological Sciences. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Stanford University School of Medicine, during which time he was awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Fellowship. He completed Emergency Medicine residency at the county hospital Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. He went on to complete a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine.
Dr. Sims has given lectures worldwide on topics in emergency medicine and sports medicine, published peer-reviewed research, and presented at national and international conferences. He currently serves on the board for Boys and Girls Clubs of America as a trustee for the Midwest region.
HARRY STAFFORD
MD, MBA, CSCS, CAQSM
Associate Professor, Medical Director, UNC Sports Medicine Fellowship Program Director of Sports Performance and Head Team Physician, North Carolina Central University Team Physician, St. Augustine University Team Physician, Board of Directors Special Olympics of North Carolina.
Dr. Stafford received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
As an undergraduate, he participated as a student-athlete on the Men’s Track and Field Team. His tenure continued at the University with the completion of his medical degree at the UNC School of Medicine. Upon completion of medical school, Dr. Stafford attended the Duke University School of Medicine as a resident in the Family Medicine Program, where he served as Chief Resident. Following residency, Dr. Stafford continued his training at Duke in the Sports Medicine Fellowship Program and following joined the Duke Sports Medicine faculty. In 2008, he returned to his alma mater to become the Director of the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship.
Dr. Harry Stafford has served as a team physician at the University of North Carolina since 2008. He is currently the head primary care physician for Women’s Basketball, as well as the Men’s and Women’s Track & Field and Cross Country Teams. Dr. Stafford also helps to provide medical care and coverage for the UNC Football Team.
As an Associate Professor in the Departments of Orthopedics and Family Medicine, he specializes in Tenex procedures, platelet rich plasma procedures, treatment of acute and chronic muscle injury and sports hernias. He also serves as the current Head Team Physician and Director of Sports Performance at North Carolina Central University.
Dr. Stafford is an active member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and American College of Sports Medicine. He has authored many book chapters and journal articles. He is currently doing research in the areas of Sports Nutrition, EKG changes in African American Athletes, and Sickle Cell Trait in Athletes. As such, he is highly regarded as a leader in the field of sports medicine. He has further been the recipient of prestigious awards recognizing his humanitarian efforts, academic pursuits, and care of athletes.
Recently Dr. Stafford received his Masters in Business Administration from UNC Kenan Flagler School of Business. He is certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a strength and conditioning specialist. He also serves on the Board of the North Carolina Special Olympics and the North Carolina Central University Foundation.
Bradley Hack
Ph.D
Dr. Hack is the Sport Psychologist for the Athletic Department and has been a member of the Sports Medicine Team since 2001.
He is originally from Detroit and earned his B.A. in psychology and economics from the University of Michigan and his M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Michigan State University.
In addition to his work with student-athletes at Carolina, Dr. Hack has also counseled professional athletes from the NFL, NHL, WNBA, NASCAR, as well as members of the U.S. Olympic Team, in his private practice. He serves as a treating clinician for the NFL’s substance abuse program.
Dr. Hack has been an active leader in professional organizations throughout his career. He was appointed to the Executive Committee for the American Psychological Association’s (APA) Division of Exercise and Sport Psychology (2002-2005) and also served as the Chair of the Education Committee for the Division. He was a primary author of the “Proficiency in Sport Psychology,” which was adopted by APA in 2003 as the national standard for the education and training of sport psychologists. He was twice elected to the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Psychological Association (1998-2002), and received a presidential appointment as the Federal Advocacy Coordinator for NCPA (2004-2006). Dr. Hack also serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Clinical and Sport Psychology and was a contributing author for The Sport Psych Handbook (Murphy, 2005).
He and his wife, Cassie, have two kids, Rider and Skylar.
Brian Littlejohn
Dr. Littlejohn earned his Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Hampton University and has since completed numerous continuing education courses.
While attending Hampton University, Bryan served as chair of the Student Special Interest Group for the Virginia Physical Therapy Association and vice-president of his graduate class. Bryan also served as president of the Pre-Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy Group while in undergraduate study at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill.
Recently, Bryan as been the Center Manager and Physical Therapist of Select Physical Therapy located in Chapel Hill, NC. Providing patient rehabilitation of various orthopedic conditions utilizing trigger point release, joint mobilizations, myofascial release, and deep tissue mobilization adjunct to therapeutic exercises and pain management modalities.
Bryan also looks to educate others by taking on the duties of a teaching assistant at Duke University, Department of Physical Therapy Program as an assisted professor for first year Doctor of Physical Therapy students in anatomy/kinesiology based curriculum.
Bryan worked as Adjunt Professor at North Carolina Central University, where he taught approximately 25-30 students, specifically on content pertaining to planes, axis of movement, and anatomy of the axial and appendicular skeleton.
Previously, Bryan worked at Aquatic Physical Therapy from 2008 to 2011 where he would thrived providing patient rehabilitation of various orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions utilizing the following: therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, modalities, aquatic therapy, and evidence-based practice techniques within the scope of physical therapy practice.
From 2009 until 2010, He worked at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Rehab, Raleigh, NC where he provided patient rehabilitation of various orthopedic conditions utilizing trigger point release, joint mobilizations, myofascial release, and deep tissue mobilization adjunct to therapeutic exercises and pain management modalities.
Always striving to be the leader in the profession of Physical Therapy, Bryan was LEAD PHYSICAL THERAPIST at Tanas Physical Therapy in Cary, NC from 2007 until 2008.

NICOLE ALEXANDER
MS, ATC
Nicole Alexander joined UNC Sports Medicine in August 2013 and is the staff athletic trainer for women’s basketball as well as swimming & diving.
Prior to coming to Chapel Hill, Nicole spent five years at the University of Notre Dame as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. During her time there she was responsible for softball team as well as the national championship men’s & women’s fencing teams. As a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Syracuse University, she was worked with the field hockey, tennis, rowing and track & field programs.
Nicole received her B.S. in Exercise and Sport Sciences from the University of Florida in 2005. She went on to receive her M.S. in Exercise Science from Syracuse University in 2008.
A native of Tallahassee, FL Nicole is a NATABOC certified athletic trainer, and a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association.
DAVID BERKOFF
MD
Dr. Berkoff received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, and completed his medical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY in 1997.
He completed an internship in internal medicine at Beth Israel Medical center in New York, and a residency in Emergency Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx.

In 2001 Dr. Berkoff moved to Chapel Hill and began working at Duke and completed his Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship at Duke. He came to UNC in 2011.

Areas of Interest

Dr. Berkoff’s clinical interests are non-operative orthopedics with a focus
on soccer athletes, cyclists, runners, triathletes, platelet rich plasma
treatments, and MSK ultrasound. He also has interest in endurance and
cycling related research and bike fitting.

JENNIFER KETTERLY
MS, RD, CSSD, LDN
Jen is a board certified sports dietitian, veteran practitioner, and consultant of the collegiate and professional sports nutrition, university health service, food and beverage industries.
She is a founding principal of Performance 365, a sports nutrition consulting group working with athletes, team organizations, universities and aligned industry partners. She teaches sports nutrition at Benedictine University and regularly lectures on sports nutrition, foodservice operations, and clinical nutrition topics for a variety of classrooms and professionals.
Jen was the founding director of the sports nutrition departments at the University’s of Georgia and North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she established full time, integrated nutrition service lines into the sports medicine and athletic departments. In this role she provided nutrition support to a variety of teams and student-athletes, oversaw athletic food service operations, and developed benchmark staffing models as well as operating infrastructure. She began her career at the University of Connecticut coordinating nutrition and wellness services for campus and assisting with athletic care.
Jen received her undergraduate degree in nutritional sciences from Cornell University and her master’s degree from the University of Kentucky with an emphasis in sports nutrition and wellness. A multisport athlete growing up, Jen played basketball while at Cornell and has coached women’s basketball at the high school and AAU levels. Her kitchen has now become a fueling station for her daughter and she’s temporarily traded her golf swing for a baby swing!
Todd Staker
DC
Dr. Todd Staker received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
He was a starting basketball player for Miami for four years which sparked his interest in sports medicine and sports injury. After college, he had planned to attend medical school or continue his education in chemistry to become a pharmacist. However, an old basketball injury led him to chiropractic and he was able to personally experience the benefits of chiropractic health care. He attended Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. He has post graduate studies in radiology, sports injury, and soft tissue injuries.
Dr. Staker is very committed to his profession. He is the proud provider of chiropractic services for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL), and he is credentialed to have chiropractic intern doctors rotate through his practice for further education and hands on experience. Dr. Staker is a member of the American Chiropractic Association, North Carolina Chiropractic Association, and the Christian Chiropractic Association.
Dr. Staker is the chiropractic editor for Health & Healing which can be found in most health care offices in the Triangle. He has medical doctors, massage therapists, physical therapists, personal trainers, amateur and professional athletes, and many other health care practitioners as his patients. He has also taught classes for the North Carolina Chiropractic Assistants program.
He is one of the few chiropractors in North Carolina that is certified in Active Release Technique (ART). ART is a specialized form of myofascial release (deep tissue massage) that treats muscle and tendon injuries, muscle adhesions and knots, scar tissue and spasms. Several injured professional and amateur athletes have been able to perform at pre-injury levels after receiving treatment. This treatment is especially effective for sports injuries.
Dr. Staker has treated collegiate athletes, professional hockey players, Olympic track and field athletes, and has been a treating physician for the Ironman professional tri-athletes
To help educate the public about work and home related back injuries, Dr. Staker holds regular spinal care classes in his office. The class addresses proper back hygiene, lifting, exercise, stress management, and how to live a healthier lifestyle. The classes are free and open to the public. He has been invited to speak at the state convention for occupational nurses and practitioners to discuss work related injuries. He has also lectured at several pain symposiums including University of North Carolina. For date and time of next class refer to Patient Education.
Jason Beaulieu
CSCS, USAW
Jason Beaulieu is in his ninth year coordinating the strength and conditioning program for the women’s basketball team.
A native of West Chester, Pa., Beaulieu enters his 22nd year as a certified strength and conditioning coach. Before arriving at the University of North Carolina, he was the Director of Strength and Conditioning at the University of Delaware. He also spent time as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning coach at the University of Kansas.
He was the Director of Athletic Performance at Velocity Sports Performance in both Baltimore Md., and Alexandria Va., and was the Head Strength and Conditioning coach and coordinator of Physical Education at St. Stephens and St. Agnes School in Alexandria, Va.
A 1996 graduate from the University of Delaware, he was a four-year letterman as a midfielder for the Delaware men’s lacrosse team from 1993-96, serving as co-captain as a senior. He led the nationally-ranked Blue Hens to North Atlantic Conference titles in 1993 and 1994. Beaulieu earned his degree in physical education studies with a concentration in strength and conditioning.
He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a certified club coach through USA Weightlifting.
Beaulieu and his wife Kathleen have two sons, Matthew and Tyler.
Alison Toth
MD

Dr. Alison Toth is the Executive Vice Chair of UNC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery where she develops and implements departmental policies, procedures, and strategic goals.

Dr. Toth is a native of New Fairfield, CT.
She graduated from Yale University, where she played varsity basketball, and then attended the Duke University School of Medicine, graduating in 1994. She completed her Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Duke University, and her sports medicine and shoulder surgery fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery at the Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City in 2001. She returned to join the Duke faculty in 2001, where she has been since.
She in her 19th year as a Team Physician for Duke Athletics and has been the Head Team Physician for North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC since 2005.
Dr. Toth specializes in the surgical treatment of knee and shoulder conditions, especially for athletes, with a focus on arthroscopic surgery and joint preservation. She has over 50 peer-reviewed publications and several book chapters. Her research interests include the use of grafts for rotator cuff repairs, articular cartilage reconstruction, and the use of biologics for orthopaedic applications including prevention of post-traumatic arthritis.
Her administrative roles in the Duke Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at present include: Vice Chair for faculty, associate program director of theorthopaedic residency, executive director of quality and safety, head of the quality co-management committee, PDC Board of Managers at-large member, and representative to the PDC credentials committee.
Alison relates that the most rewarding aspect of her career is training Duke residents and fellows to be great orthopaedic surgeons and dedicated physicians.
Jarred Chappell
Jarred is an experienced non-profit manager with a background in risk management.
After receiving his undergraduate degree in business from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Jarred launched a career in risk management, advising small businesses in the healthcare sector on how to mitigate common financial, legal, and employment related risks.
Jarred earned his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Leadership.
He is currently the Director of the North Carolina Rate Bureau, a non-profit organization that oversees data collection and rate setting for the insurance industry in North Carolina.
A native North Carolinian, he lives in Chapel Hill with his wife and two children.
Roderick Allison

Attorney Roderick G. Allison is a native of Kannapolis, NC, and has been in the active practice of law for over 20 years.
He graduated from North Carolina Central University, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science/Minor in English in 1995 as Class Valedictorian. He then earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, School of Law in 1998. During his educational career, Atty. Allison also interned with the U.S. Dept. of Justice Civil Rights Division (Washington, D.C.) and the N.C. Office of the Appellate Defender.
After working as In-House Counsel for a non-profit corporation for a number of years, Atty. Allison founded The Allison Office, a general law practice located in Creedmoor, NC in 2003. During his legal career, Atty. Allison has served clients across the State of North Carolina in numerous areas of law, including personal injury, traffic law, medical malpractice, non-profit law and other general areas.
His professional affiliations have included: American Bar Association; N.C. Bar Association (General Practice Solo & Small Firm Section); N.C. Nick Potter

Nick Potter serves as the Director of High Performance and Sports Science for Men’s Basketball.
As Director of High Performance and Sports Science, Potter coordinates player health, performance, recovery, and wellness with key team personnel to ensure optimal athlete individualization and holistic development. He has established a comprehensive system of data collection, analysis, and reporting to monitor and maximize athlete development, wellness and readiness for high performance.
Potter also carries out the team’s Biomechanical Enhancement Program in conjunction with the strength & conditioning program and establishes rehabilitation return to play protocols integrating the medical, performance and coaching staffs. Potter serves on the Integrative Performance Excellence Group, a unit comprised of directors in the areas of Sports Performance, Athletic Medicine, Sports Nutrition and Behavioral Health, as well as individuals representing psychological services, team physicians and primary care physicians.
He has lectured over 40 times nationally and internationally at various sports medicine conferences/courses, as well as authored several journal articles and book chapters. In addition to his role with Duke Basketball, Potter also provides medical coverage for the USA Olympic Shooting team, previously covering the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Potter earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Duke University School of Medicine in 2004. After graduation from Duke, he completed a combined orthopedic residency/manual therapy fellowship at Sports Medicine of Atlanta, which was then followed by a Sports Physical Therapy Fellowship at Duke Sports Medicine. Potter earned his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine with Emphasis in Athletic Training and Pre-Physical Therapy at Mercyhurst College in 2001.
Ron Weathers
DPT, PT, SCS, ATC, CSCS
Dr. Ron Weathers is the President and CEO of Embodi, LLC based in Charlotte, NC.
Before founding the company, he spent 7 years in the NBA as Director of Rehabilitation and Assistant Athletic Trainer for the Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic. Dr. Weathers provided rehabilitation for the players, monitored injury trends, and decreased injuries through functional movement assessment, manual therapy, and corrective exercise prescription.
Before joining the NBA, Dr. Weathers served as Sports Rehabilitation Specialist/Assistant Athletic Trainer for Duke University Athletics. He was responsible for providing physical therapy and athletic training services for the 17 Olympic sports teams. He worked closely with the men’s lacrosse team, made two Final Four appearances and won the NCAA National Championship in 2013.
Dr. Weathers is a board-certified clinical specialist in sports physical therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialist. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the National Strength Coach Association. He holds a post-graduate certificate in high-performance leadership through the Australia Catholic University. He completed his sports physical therapy fellowship at Duke University in 2009 and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Temple University in 2008. While working as a student athletic trainer at Temple, Dr. Weathers earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology/Athletic Training.
Dr. Weathers is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, National Athletic Training Association, and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Dr. Weathers is a frequent guest speaker for numerous professional organizations, Doctor of Physical Therapy programs, and in the community. Dr. Weathers has also served as an adjunct professor for the University of Central Florida Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
Ezron Bryson
MA, ATC, CSCS, CES
Ezron's passion for Athletic Training started at Hofstra University where he spent a significant amount of time working and studying in the discipline.
There he was giving an amazing opportunity to intern with the New York Jets while he was an undergraduate student. After earning a Baccalaureate Degree in Athletic Training from Hofstra University, Ezron entered the field on the graduate level to continue to explore his passions and delve deeper into the discipline. Ezron attended the University of Michigan to pursue his Master’s Degree in Sport Management while serving as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Michigan Wolverine’s Football Team for 2 years.
After earning his Master’s Degree is Sport Management, Ezron entered the professional field and began working as The Assistant Director of Sports Medicine at Manhattan College from 2012 to 2015 working primarily with the Men’s Basketball team and directly overseeing Baseball and Women’s Volleyball. He went on to work as the Assistant Athletic Trainer with the University of Georgia where he was primarily responsible for the care of the Men’s Basketball Team. Amongst his many responsibilities, Ezron enjoyed mentoring younger staff members and Graduate Assistants. He encouraged them to follow these 3 philosophies: Be present, work hard, and cultivate meaningful relationships.
Today, Ezron resides in New Jersey with his family and works as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for The New York Jets since 2016. He has served on the NFL Covid-19 Task Force Subcommittee on Isolation & Risk Mitigation and currently serves on the PFATS Diversity Committee. He also serves on the board of Building Young Moguls non-profit organization where the mission is to teach entrepreneurship in marginalized communities.
JAMES D. (BUTCH) WILLIAMS, JR

James D. (BUTCH) Williams, Jr. is the Senior Partner of The Law Offices of James D. Williams, Jr. P.A.

He was born on August 21, 1954 in Washington, D.C. He attended parochial schools in Washington and graduated from Archbishop John Carroll High School in May of 1972. He continued his education by attending North Carolina Central University in Durham, N.C. where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in May, 1976.

He entered North Carolina Central’s Law School in the fall of 1976. While there he set himself aside by winning many intramural and national intercollegiate competitions for Trial Advocacy and Moot Court. He graduated in 1979 and immediately sat and passed the North Carolina Bar Exam.
He was admitted to practice law in August, 1979. He then put his civilian law practice on hold to serve his country in the United States Marine Corps. He served in the USMC both as an infantry officer as well as a noted judge advocate. He was discharged from the USMC as a captain in February 1983 wherein he returned to Durham, N.C. and joined mentor, Kenneth B. Spaulding, in the practice of law.

In, 1996 he opened his own law practice under the name of The Law Offices of James D. Williams, Jr., P.A. where he has employed and trained over 12 lawyers and numerous staff person in the area of Federal and State trial advocacy. His primary practice areas are criminal law, both State and Federal, as well as sports law and entertainment law.

Some of his noted participation has been in the Duke Lacrosse case, Michael Vick’s criminal case, Joe Brewer’s corruption case, as well as the Wesley Snipes tax case.

In the sports law area, he has distinguished himself as a sports agent and lecturer on different areas of sports and entertainment law. Most notably, he has represented 10 top draft picks in both the NFL and the NBA. Overall, he has represented 10 Pro Bowl players.

He has been an adjunct professor of law at North Carolina Central University School of Law where he teaches Trial Practice and Sports Law for over 25 years.

He is the immediate past Chairman of the Board of Visitors for the School of Law and a member of the Foundation Board, both at North Carolina Central University.

He is married to Sherron Hayes and has 3 children, Marshall, Jamie and Olivia.

Cameron S. Belton is an Associate Attorney in The Law Offices of James D. Williams, Jr. where his practice focuses on criminal defense, traffic matters, and athlete representation being certified as a NFL Contract Advisor.
Cameron has represented clients in District and Superior Court in several counties throughout North Carolina.

Born and raised in Charlotte, N.C., Cameron currently resides in Raleigh, N.C. Cameron received his bachelor’s degree in Sport Administration – Exercise and Sport Science from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After completing his undergraduate degree, Cameron attended North Carolina Central University School of Law in Durham, N.C.

During law school, Cameron practiced as a student attorney in the criminal defense clinic, where he represented individuals who were charged with misdemeanor offenses. Starting in 2012, Cameron worked as a legal intern at The Law Offices of James D. Williams, Jr. before becoming a licensed attorney in 2014. In his free time, Cameron enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and traveling.
